FUTURE-PROOF, together with the Danish Institute for Human Rights (DIHR), and Ethical Trade Norway invites you to a webinar about human rights in the Norwegian salmon industry.
This webinar will focus on responsible business conduct in the Norwegian salmon industry, in light of the Transparency Act (“Åpenhetsloven”).
Some of the topics will include:
- Human rights due diligence, responsible business conduct and access to remedy in the Norwegian salmon industry.
- Findings and recommendations of the sector-wide impact assessment - human rights impacts of the Chilean farming industry by DIHR and the INDH Chile.
- Overview of existing initiatives, tools and guidance relevant for responsible business conduct in the salmon industry.
The primary audience of the webinar are salmon industry actors and others working on the intersection of human rights and the salmon industry.
The webinar will be held in English, it is free of charge, and will be open for all.
